Sir Oliver Heald replaces Lord Faulks
The Isle of Man has a new man in London.
Conservative MP Sir Oliver Heald has replaced Lord Faulks, who resigned as Minister of State for Justice last Monday, following Prime Minister Theresa May's decision to replace Michael Gove with Liz Truss as Lord Chancellor.
Sir Oliver will have responsibilty for the Crown Dependencies
Liz Truss is the Privy Counsellor with special responsibility for island affairs, and she will be supported in this role by Sir Oliver, who takes over as minister responsible for the conduct of the island's business in Whitehall.
