Members' interests rules amended
Tynwald members will soon have to declare more expensive gifts under new parliamentary rules.
When the Court sits later this month, the registrar of members’ interests will amend how much gifts can be worth before they have to be declared.
Members will be expected to register any gifts or benefits worth more than £1,151 in any year – or any individual gift worth more than £58.
A notice will be given to members at the Court’s sitting on 17 May when the new rules take effect.
