Alarm provider says customers have been contacted this morning
A new scam which targets vulnerable people in the Island who have fall alarms in their homes has been reported to Manx Radio.
Gemma Mattin from Andreas based alarm provider Gemacare says a number of customers have contacted her this morning after being called.
The scammers are demanding payment of sums of money with the threat that their personal alarms will be cut off if they don't comply.
Gemma, who has passed the information onto the police says it's a particularly disgusting scam:
