Identity being kept secret for now
A new statue is being installed outside the Gaiety Theatre – but its identity is yet to be revealed.
The Isle of Man Arts Council has shared a picture of the sculpture – shrouded in a white sheet – on social media.
It says it's a 'very special commission' designed to celebrate the cultural area.
The statue – which some people are speculating could be Laxey actress Samantha Barks – will be unveiled next Friday (24 September).
