The largest trade union on the Island has announced it’s to get a new head next week.
Unite says current regional industrial organiser Steve Salter is retiring in September.
He’ll be replaced by Eric Holmes, who’s taking on the position of stand-down officer in the meantime.
Mr Holmes will take over the top job on the Island for nine months, after which the union says the position will be reviewed.
