Pledge college will serve Island's needs
The University College Isle of Man will serve 'our growing and diversifying’ economy.
That’s the commitment from its new principal Jo Pretty who begins her tenure from September (2016).
Principal Pretty is moving here after two years heading up Lowestoft College – where she is credited with significantly improving result success rates and boosting apprenticeships.
Ms Pretty's move into education follows a 17-year career in the private and public sectors.
