Scientists say they may have found a new use for the seaweed that washes up on Manx beaches.
Dr Chris Greenwell of Durham University is leading a team looking at generating biogas from seaweed.
His team is considering how technology could help the Island’s energy supplies, and whether we’d need to set up special farms to grow seaweed.
But he says there’s already a huge amount which could be put to good use:
Government 'neglecting' heritage assets across the Island
House of Keys question paper dominated by one MHK
Efforts to push more services online causing frustration in community
Fuel supplies to the Island remain 'reliable'
