Granite obelisks - recently installed for the first time along the Island's longest walking route - have sparked criticism.
The pillars mark starting points for the Raad ny Foillan footpath, with the first being launched in Port Erin last week.
But, the decision to use the route's English title before the Manx has caused outrage amongst some residents.
