Ceremonies at Douglas and Ronaldsway Air Museum
New war memorials – dedicated to the memory of Polish airmen – are being installed on the Isle of Man.
Yesterday (8 April) a ceremony took place at Douglas Town Hall – today a similar service will take place at Ronaldsway Air Museum at 11am.
The plaques are dedicated to the memory of 11 servicemen who died in or around the Isle of Man between 1940 and 1946.
