Horse tram season underway for 2024
A newly qualified farrier has told Manx Radio he ‘jumped at the chance’ of completing his training on Island.
Luke Collison has undertaken a four-year ‘on the job apprenticeship’ with the Douglas Bay Horse Tram Service.
He’s responsible for looking after the horses' hoofs – a profession which combines blacksmith and veterinary skills.
Luke, who was on-hand as the horse tram season got underway last week, told Manx Radio the training was something he’s always wanted to do:
Government 'expects fuel pricing to stabilise by middle of week'
Tanker carrying 4.5 million litres of fuel waiting to dock
Queues at pumps as diesel prices increase across Island
