MR bosses puzzled by newspaper article
Manx Radio bosses have reacted with surprise to claims its long-term redevelopment plans have been blocked by Treasury.
An article in a local newspaper today (Thursday) suggests proposals to upgrade the station’s Douglas Head home have been turned down.
This summer, a Treasury sub-committee recommended the final phase of the scheme be approved.
Radio chairman Bill Mummery says discussions are ongoing and station management have not been informed whether a final decision has been made.
