Manx Radio broadcasting from celebration today
A celebration day is taking place in the west of the Island today to mark the work of Beach Buddies.
The beach cleaning group recently recruited their 10,000th volunteer since 2013, and are hosting an informal party at Niarbyl Cafe.
A marquee will feature stands from other local charities and Government groups, while Manx Radio will be live at the event throughout the day.
Women Today presenter Christy DeHaven says all manner of people from MHKs and those involved in our reducing our plastic dependence through to volunteers out every weekend picking up rubbish will be taking part.
