Two paintings by a renowned local artist have been donated to the Island's Hospice shops.
The John H Nicholson pieces will be sold to raise money for repairs and renewals at the charity's six Manx outlets.
Coming from a family of painters and decorators and artists, Nicholson exhibited regularly both on and off the Island and was an elected member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours and the Pastel Society.
He was self-taught and went on to establish himself over the next 50 years as one of the most successful Manx artists of his time, before his death in 1988.
The Hospice says his works don't come on the market very often so it's a unique opportunity, especially for collectors.
