A Baldrine man accused of making a false statement on his general election nomination paper will stand trial next February.
Nigel Dobson, 58, who unsuccessfully contested the constituency of Garff, denies the charge.
His case has been adjourned until February 14, for a summary trial before magistrates.
A pre-trial review before magistrates was held yesterday (Wednesday) at Douglas Courthouse.
