Police express concerns about illegal activity on premises
A Liverpool nightclub where a man from the Island fell ill and died will have its licence reviewed tomorrow.
Representatives from Cream, in Wolstenholme Square, will appear before Liverpool City Council after police applied for the review.
They’d asked for the hearing after the death of 47-year-old Andrew Glaister of Ramsey and another clubber at an event on Boxing Day.
In their request, Merseyside Police expressed concerns about crime and disorder involving drugs at the premises.
The review will take place as Cream’s premises are demolished and the club moved underground in a huge regeneration scheme.
