Nineteen horses and ponies which were kept in conditions which ‘no animal should live in’ have recovered well from their ordeal.
That’s the message from the vet who was called to assess them at Hilton Croft, in the north of the Island, in May last year.
Yesterday 61-year-old Douglas woman Wendy Elizabeth Megson was jailed for 20 weeks for causing unnecessary suffering to animals.
