Same-sex couples won't be able to have civil partnership ceremonies in churches in the Isle of Man, despite a change to the law in parts of the United Kingdom.
From next month, homosexual couples will be allowed to hold the ceremonies in some churches and other places of worship in England and Wales.
However, Bishop Robert Paterson says that won't be happening on the Island (first part of audio file):
