Gas markets remain volatile
Manx Utilities has given an assurance that electricity tariffs will be kept unchanged until April 2023.
Meanwhile wholesale gas prices have dropped significantly, prompting Isle of Man Energy to announce a retail price cut of almost 25 per cent to its customers.
Manx Utilities Chairman, Tim Johnston MHK says the downward movement is encouraging, but gas markets remain volatile.
He says the capped electricity prices on Island are already among the cheapest in the British Isles:
