Group says testing changes were not discussed
The Emergency Advisory Group has confirmed it was not consulted on changes to isolation and testing requirements for Covid-19.
The group is designed to provide external advice, perspective and insight to the Council of Ministers and Tynwald in emergency situations.
Health Minister David Ashford told Manx Radio he thought papers had been circulated to the EAG.
MLC Rob Mercer, the Tynwald representative on the group, told Manx Radio papers to seek views on forward planning for border changes over the coming months were received.
However he says changes to isolation requirements, in the short term, did not form part of the discussion document.
