An investigation by the Department of Home Affairs into the by-election in East Douglas last April has so far cost £7,500.
In reply to a written House of Keys question from Onchan MHK David Quirk, Minister Adrian Earnshaw said there was still no indication when a report into the matter would be published.
Issues such as proxy voting and funding for candidates are being looked into.
