Call for democratic deficit to be addressed
No date has been set for the Douglas South by-election which was due to take place in March before being put on hold under lockdown.
It's understood the Cabinet Office is working on a proposed timetable, but an announcement won't be made until the Lieutenant Governor triggers the process.
There's been a democratic deficit in the constituency, with only Kate Costain representing the two-seat constituency since the passing of Bill Malarkey in February.
