Lambert remains critical in hospital
A rider who was seriously injured in Sunday's TT Superbike race could have been removed by helicopter 'at any time', according to the Clerk of the Course.
Gary Thompson says the air ambulance could have been dispatched for Davey Lambert, even as the race continued.
After crashing at Greeba on lap three, Lambert was kept at the scene before being taken to Noble's after the race concluded.
He was later transferred to Liverpool for further treatment - where he remains in a 'critical' condition.
