Lambert remains critical in hospital
A rider who was seriously injured in Sunday's TT Superbike race could have been removed by helicopter 'at any time', according to the Clerk of the Course.
Gary Thompson says the air ambulance could have been dispatched for Davey Lambert, even as the race continued.
After crashing at Greeba on lap three, Lambert was kept at the scene before being taken to Noble's after the race concluded.
He was later transferred to Liverpool for further treatment - where he remains in a 'critical' condition.
Mr Thompson says, in such situations, the final decision rests with him:
Health minister to give statement on Hospice funding
Majority of people on IOM not satisfied with travel options
Gandeys Circus cancels Sunday shows due to high winds
Final round of bus strike action gets underway
Hospice redundancies decision "tough to make but the right thing to do", says CEO
