Delay due to 'competing' priorities
No fault divorces could be brought in on the Isle of Man by the end of 2021 after delays caused by a backlog of legislation.
The home affairs minister says whilst he cannot give a 'definite date' he is hopeful new regulation will go before the Council of Ministers by the end of the 'calendar year'.
They will become possible under the Divorce Dissolution and Separation Act 2020 which received Royal Assent in October.
