
The clampdown on walking your dog in parks, squares and gardens in Douglas is a step closer.
There was initial confusion over the implementation of new by-laws, banning dogs from many public open spaces.
Instead, owners have been told they must exercise their pets in the designated area at Noble's Park.
Now Douglas Corporation is putting up clear signs for dog owners - and enforcement officers will soon be handing out £40 fines to anyone breaking the ban.
