Popular winter pastime is pulled
A popular winter ice rink will not be returning to St John's this Christmas.
The facility at Tynwald Mills attracts upwards of 10,000 visitors over the festive period.
But organisers have today (Fri) confirmed the plug will be pulled on the rink this December, blaming the decision on 'issues beyond [their] control'.
The ice rink was denied planning permission last year, but managed to stay open after an appeal.
Ice Skate Isle of Man has thanked customers for their support.
