Commissioners await response on £400k bid
Ramsey Town Commissioners say the final say on the future of the town's courthouse lies with the home affairs minister.
The local authority met again in private last night to discuss its offer to buy the property.
A bid of around £400,000 has been submitted by the commissioners - £75,000 lower than the estate agent's 'for sale' price, but in line with the government valuation.
Chairman Andy Cowie wouldn't be moved on whether or not the offer is likely to be accepted:
