CURA carries out interim review into tariffs

Gas prices on the Isle of Man won’t be going up during the latter part of 2026.

The Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority says no change to the domestic tariff is warranted at this time.

The authority carries out two reviews per year; the latest, this month, considers the impact of commodity prices and consumer demand.

Among the things considered are the average cost throughout the year, units of gas used and the actual return made by Isle of Man Energy.

You can find out more HERE.

The next scheduled tariff review is due to take place in December 2026.

The authority is currently consulting on regulations for setting tariffs for commercial customers.
