Air fares the biggest increase over year
The rate of inflation on the Island remained at the same level in February as it was in January.
It's 2.6% with transport costs making up the bulk of this figure.
The rate of inflation a year ago in February was 1.9%.
Air fares, both off the Island and further afield have increased by 30.5% over this 12 month period.
Other areas seeing larger than average rises include the cost of pork, internet subscriptions, window cleaning, postage and driving lessons.
On the flip side, the biggest decreases were seen in clothing, coats, vegetables, oil and other fuels.
Within clothing, all prices are down with the exception of footwear.
