Women reported issues booking appointments earlier this month
Smear test provision at GP surgeries across the Isle of Man is no longer an issue.
That's according to Manx Care.
It follows concerns raised by people on social media who had complained about difficulties with booking the screening test which checks the health of the cervix.
Manx Radio asked the health body to comment.
In a statement, they said: "We have had confirmation that there is no issue across practices in terms of smear test provision. One practice was directing people to the StayWell clinic whilst they overcame a staffing issue, but this has now been resolved and no practice is reporting problems providing smear tests. People can access a smear test on the Island if they need one.
"Anyone with any queries or concerns should contact the Manx Care Advice and Liaison Service (MCALS) on mcals@gov.im or 642642."
