Ed Jennings speaks at online security event
There's no strong 'mandate to move' to 5G according to the Chief Commercial Officer of Manx Telecom.
Ed Jennings was questioned on how soon the company is looking to develop the technology on the Island.
The telecoms boss was speaking at government's CyberIsle event, looking into online security.
But when probed on a time scale for such a move, Mr Jennings told Manx Radio it's important the infrastructure is in place, and there's currently no pressure on them:
