Health Minister David Anderson says his department won’t be recruiting more salaried dentists until a review of the Island’s NHS dental service has taken place.
He faced questions in the House of Keys from North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson about advertising for more dentists.
Mr Anderson said a number of adverts for government-employed praticioners had been put in the jobcentre and on the government’s website late last year.
But he said current vacancies wouldn’t be filled until the department had made some adjustments to its services.
