Minister pleads for end to cuts
Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey has warned there is 'no fat left to trim' in his department.
He made the comments as part of his response to Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan's budget speech.
Mr Malarkey outlined the cuts which have been made to staff and resource budgets over the last eight years or so.
He then went on to explain why he was pointing this out:
