DOI advised by Douglas Borough Council
The decision to not put live bands on after 9pm at this year's TT Fan Park was made after Douglas Borough Council received an 'unspecified number' of complaints from nearby residents.
Last year, the new-look area near the Grandstand was host to a number of live acts.
But in March it was announced that wouldn't be the case this year - one of the 'improvements' being made by the Department for Enterprise to reduce what it calls the 'negative impact of local residents'.
In response to a Freedom of Information request, the Department stated whilst it did not receive any complaints directly, it was advised of issues by the local authority.
The subsequent decision was made after ongoing discussions with the body.
