Policy and Reform Minister responds to concerns in House of Keys
The Minister for Policy and Reform says it was never the intention to prescribe all circumstances in which a serious case management review would be undertaken for a vulnerable adult.
Chris Thomas was responding to concerns raised by Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper.
He told the House there were already mechanisms in place for the review of the circumstances when someone dies in police or prison custody.
Mr Hooper said his real question was WHY such a review is not required to be undertaken - as it is an absolute requirement were it a child.
