Manx patient found to have more transmissible variant after UK appointment
There's no evidence of onwards transmission on the Island after a Manx patient returned from an appointment in the UK with the new strain of coronavirus.
The case relates to a person who was tested before Christmas, and not either of the two recent clusters.
This variant is thought to be up to 70% more transmissible.
