Shortage only temporary issue at A and E
Noble's Hospital say earlier reports about there being "no beds available" gave an inaccurate impression of the true situation at the facility.
Managers have issued a brief statement saying a shortage of beds referred to today was only related to the Emergency Department while doctors dealt with a number of people injured in road traffic accident.
They want to make it clear to the public that it was not a case of there being a shortage of beds in the hospital as a whole.
