Health minister hopes to expand number of pharmacies able to provide the drug privately
There are no current plans to offer medicinal cannabis on the NHS in the Isle of Man.
Since 2022, Karsons pharmacy in Onchan has held a licence for dispensing cannabis based products to patients with private prescriptions as part of a pilot scheme.
The Department of Health and Social Care is now inviting businesses to submit applications for new licences.
But minister Lawrie Hooper says it will still only be possible to get a prescription privately:
