But Duke will have 168 cabins for TT
Pop-up accommodation won’t be operated on the site of the former prison during the Manx Grand Prix.
That's according to the company which has been granted permission to operate 168 cabins during both the MGP and TT periods.
Government had agreed that Duke Events Ltd could place the structures on the Victoria Road site to help provide more accommodation options.
But chief executive Peter Duke says the numbers 'don't work' for both events:

£41K spent on encouraging people to shop local
Baton of Hope to come back to Isle of Man
CoC 'keen' for continuity of sidecar racing at TT
2026 Manx Grand Prix to begin today
