Syria aid charity boss says gov't can do more
There is no reason for any nation to refuse to home refugees - that's according to Syrian refugee, Baraa Kouja.
He was at Noa Bakehouse this weekend talking about the Syrian crisis, during the 'From Syria With Love' exhibition.
It's a collection of artwork made by children living in refugee camps - all proceeds from exhibition go Baraa's charity, which aids the most vulnerable displaced by the conflict.
The Isle of Man Government made the decision not to home refugees, but sent just under a million pounds to aid those suffering in the crisis.

He told Manx Radio there were clear benefits to the donation, but more should be done:

Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
Ayre and Michael MHKs request meeting with commissioners over rates
Data breach impact rises sharply as cyber incidents affect thousands on Isle of Man
