Office of Fair Trading gives top tips for those looking to manage their money more effectively
Debt counsellors are reportedly seeing growing numbers of residents seeking advice and support in recent weeks.
However, when the Isle of Man saw hikes to the general cost of living some two years ago, the Office of Fair Trading didn't see an anticipated rise in those contacting the service.
It's unknown why this is the case, but is being put down to people possibly using other debt services or 'struggling' along on their own.
