Police say a 'serious assault' in the West of the Island is being treated as an isolated incident, and insist there's no wider risk to the public.
A person suffered 'significant injuries' during the incident just off Glen Maye and Patrick Road on the outskirts of Peel in the early hours of Friday morning.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to contact Police Headquarters on 631212, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
