Ramsey Bakery says problems with weather and boat sailings don’t affect its ability to supply the Isle of Man with fresh bread.
Last week, gale force winds and massive storms lashed the Island, forcing the Steam Packet to cancel some sailings.
It left Tesco with supply problems as it struggled to bring in deliveries of food, and the supermarket turned to Ramsey Bakery for a greatly increased order.
Managing Director of the local company, Jim Duncan (pictured), says the weather in the Irish Sea won’t cut off bread supplies:
