
Concerns about the implementation of a new IT system at Noble's Hospital could escalate into a full-blown trade dispute unless practical solutions are found by the DHSS by the end of this week.
The Isle of Man Government Officers Association, Prospect, say that their members are having to undertake considerable extra duties; that they've not been properly trained or consulted on changes; are having to work long hours to cope and are suffering a number of stress-related problems.
Secretary Angela Moffatt (pictured) says the DHSS has had plenty of time for consultation, but has left it too late:
