Department facing "financial challenges"
The Department of Health and Social Care has confirmed that the Chief Nurse at Noble's Hospital is leaving their post, with "a reorganisation of management structures" ongoing.
A statement from the DHSC says it's "facing financial challenges" which it's trying to tackle "without reducing frontline services".
The announcement comes amidst an ongoing "cost-improvement approach", which follows the introduction of a 'mutually agreed resignation scheme', or MARS scheme, last November.
The department says it will not discuss individual roles or employment matters while the consultation proceeds, or before final decisions have been made.
