Manx Utilities apologises to those affected by noise
Manx Utilities is apologising to anyone affected by a noise at Pulrose Power Station in the early hours of this morning.
The company has confirmed the sound came from one of the 33 cooling fans on the Middle River side of the site.
As a result, the fan has now been taken out of service and doesn't affect the running of the plant.
Manx Radio understands nearby residents were woken up by the noise shortly before 3am.
