Nominations are open to fill one vacant seat on Douglas Council's North Ward.
It comes after Janet Thommeny resigned in May - having served on the local authority for 10 years.
She was first elected to the council in 2016 and after re-election in 2021, became mayor in 2022 which she held for a year.
Forms can be found on the council's website and must be submitted by 1pm on 17 June.
If more than one person steps forward, polling will take place on 16 July.
