Public encouraged to put projects forward
Projects which support the Island's biosphere status will be celebrated later this year.
Winners of the first UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man awards will be announced in September - and the public are being invited to make nominations.
Entries can be for projects which raise awareness of environmental issues, promote sustainability, or reduce energy consumption.
Chair of the judges for the awards Dr Ken Milne says entering is simple.
More information about the awards can be found at gov.im/biosphereawards, and nominations close on 31 August.
