Cinema, hotel, apartments, shops, car park all included
More details have emerged about proposals for a major leisure and residential complex on North Quay in Douglas.
On Thursday morning, Manx Radio broke the news about the plans, which include an 80-bed Travelodge hotel, apartments, a seven-screen cinema, retail outlets and a multi-storey car park.
Now, the government has confirmed 'Quayside North' will cost £25 million, will be built by a local company, Kane Ltd, and will create 100 jobs.
It is still subject to planning approval.
