Chair Sandra Cottam-Shea says the town hall will help facilitate the scheme

Ramsey Commissioners says it's 'crucial' for residents in the north to be able to access government services without having to travel to Douglas.

Chair Sandra Cottam-Shea believes there is a 'comprehensive' third sector and public sector but often the disconnect can leave people stuck.

A scheme will see the town be used as a 'regional hub' for government services including digital support, signposting and assistance with government forms and applications.

Mrs Cottam-Shea says the town hall is there to 'serve' the residents of Ramsey.
