Ramsey residents are being asked to make a special effort to get the town looking its best this weekend.
Two judges from the British Horticultural Society will be carrying out an inspection on Tuesday morning, as part of the Britain in Bloom competition.
Ramsey is in the Small Town section and is the Isle of Man's entry in the 2009 competition.
Chairman of the town's Britain in Bloom committee Brian Beattie is asking everybody to do their bit, so Ramsey has the best possible chance:
